I bring both a creative and marketplace perspective to the work, grounded in more than 20 years of developing material from the producer and development executive side of the table.

One-Draft Coaching

For writers looking for an experienced development executive’s perspective on a current draft.

One-Draft Coaching takes place over two sessions. Instead of reading your script, deciding what I think, and delivering a set of notes, I want to understand your intentions before I do the deeper development work.

Session One: The Diagnostic Conversation

I’ll read your script in advance, then we’ll meet to talk about your intention for the project, where you are in the development process, what you’re trying to accomplish with this script and in your career, and any questions or feedback you’re already wrestling with.

Between Sessions

I’ll read your script again with a much clearer understanding of you, the project, and your intentions. From there, I can tailor my development work to your specific goals.

Session Two: Development + Rewrite Path

We’ll dig into what I’m seeing in the work: what’s landing and where there may be a gap between your intention and what’s coming through on the page. We’ll also look at the project’s identity and how we can sharpen it. From there, I’ll make development recommendations and we’ll talk through your path into the next draft.

30-Minute TV Pilot, up to 40 pages: $750

One-Hour TV Pilot, up to 75 pages: $850

Feature Screenplay, up to 110 pages: $850

Both sessions are 60 minutes and conducted on Zoom, with a recording and transcript provided.

Full Rewrite Coaching

For writers who want an experienced development executive in their corner throughout the rewrite.

Full Rewrite Coaching begins with the same diagnostic and development process as One-Draft Coaching, but instead of ending after Session Two, I stay with you as you put the development work into practice.

Support While You Rewrite

You’ll have five weeks of access to me while you work through the rewrite. You can bring me development questions, decisions you’re wrestling with, feedback you’ve received, or other questions that come up as you move the project forward. Support is asynchronous via email, text and voice message. This support does not include additional script or material reads beyond the initial and revised drafts.

Session Three: Review of Your Revised Draft

I’ll read your revised draft before we meet. Together, we’ll look at what the rewrite has accomplished and how the project has evolved. We’ll return to the intentions we established at the beginning of our work and look at what the new draft is communicating now, where the gap has closed, and where there may still be development work to do.
